How to install SMARTFiber Pro fiber tester software for Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 ?

Operating Systems:

• Microsoft Windows XP (all 32-bit versions) with Service Pack 3 (SP 3) or later
• Microsoft Windows Vista (all versions) with Service Pack 1 (SP 1) or later
• Microsoft Windows 7 (all versions) with Service Pack 1 (SP 1) or later. "Please disable Signed Driver Enforcement before you begin". Learn more
• Microsoft Windows 8/8.1 (all versions). "Please disable Signed Driver Enforcement before you begin". Learn more
• Microsoft Windows 10 (all versions). "Please disable Signed Driver Enforcement before you begin". Learn more



Microsoft Windows 7

1. Click F8 after the BIOS self-test is completed.

2. The Advanced Boot Options page appears on screen. Click Disable driver signature enforcement.

3. After the computer is restarted, follow the on-screen instructions to install your SMARTFiber Pro software.

4. Driver signature enforcement will be enabled when you shut down the computer. You don’t have to do any other setup to revert back.



Microsoft Windows 8/8.1

1. Login to Windows 8/8.1.

2. Click Settings at the bottom right corner.

3. Click Change PC settings.

4. For Windows 8.0: If the PC settings page appears on screen, click General and Restart now.
For Windows 8.1: If the PC settings page appears screen, click Update & Recovery and Restart now.

5. After the computer is restarted, the Choose an option page appears on screen. Click Troubleshooting.

6. Click Advanced options.

7. Click Startup Settings.

8. Click Restart.

9. After the computer is restarted, the Windows Startup Settings page appears on screen. Click 7)Disable driver signature enforcement.

10. In the troubleshooting mode, follow the on-screen instructions to install your SMARTFiber Pro software.

11. Driver signature enforcement will be enabled when you shut down the computer. There’s no need to do any other setup to revert back.
